Meet The Executive Director
Agu Eusebius Uzoamaka (Nze Obi) is a graduate of Guidance and Counseling from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka. He holds a Master’s degree in Sociology of Education from the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Sociology of Education at Ignatius Ajuru University of Education, Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.
The Healthy and Sanitized Environment Foundation (THASEF) was born out of his lifelong passion for maintaining a clean and serene environment—a lifestyle he embraced from his teenage years.
In 2018, he established his first cleaning services business, offering both cleaning and laundry solutions. Over time, his vision expanded beyond business into community mobilization. By 2022, this drive led to the formation of the Association of Imo State Laundry and Dry-Cleaning Service Cooperative Society, which later evolved into what is now known as THASEF.
Today, THASEF has a physical presence in twenty-eight states of Nigeria—including Imo, Abia, FCT Abuja, Rivers, Plateau, Kano, and Lagos—with over 750 dedicated members.
In the face of the global climate change crisis, THASEF recognizes the urgent need for a holistic and collective approach to environmental challenges. Since officially commencing activities in 2022 and securing registration with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), the foundation has been committed to advocacy, community mobilization, and practical environmental action.
With smart work, persistence, and dedication, THASEF envisions that within the next decade, it will emerge as a vital force in the global environmental sector, with every household actively participating as volunteers.
